Here's hoping I'm the bookmark you always keep coming back to!
Thank you, Dr. Amiran
Way back in late August of 1995, I was randomly paired up with this girl in my English composition class at SUNY Fredonia. Looking back, I feel like I hit the lotto jackpot.
Her name was Tracie and we were peer editors for the semester as we had to write periodic essays about our experience as college freshmen. The objective of the peer-editing was to offer feedback on our writing styles and/or content of the essays.
Let's just say the peer-editing continues today.
A couple weeks into the course, we started to get to know each other more and more through our essays and just talking in class.
Eventually we started to walk to and from class together and we began to hang out (i.e. eat meals together, watch television). This was cool because my roommate was an absolute introvert who had and probably still has the personality of a dead snail.
I had fun with Tracie and her hallmates.
